Laughter

From The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin – “Laughter is more than just a pleasurable activity.  It can boost immunity and lower blood pressure and cortisol levels (cortisol helps convert fats and proteins into energy, keeps us alert, balances electrolytes, calibrates your heart beat and pressure, and counteracts inflammation).  Laughter increases people’s tolerance for pain.  It’s a source of social bonding, and it helps to reduce conflict and cushion social stress with relations.  When people laugh together, they tend to talk and touch more and to make eye contact more frequently”.   So start laughing often.  Go get my favorite comedy The Blues Brothers.  The music is great too so you can sing and dance while you are laughing.  What movie makes you laugh?  If you are sad, put on your favorite DVD and start laughing.   Old home movies have the same effect on my.  They make me laugh even though I have seen them over and over.  Seek out people and things daily that make you laugh.  Make sure you set time aside to laugh.  Life shouldn't always be serious.

"We're on a mission from God"
Be happy, laugh and God bless you.
