No one has ever called me a perfectionist and I have never wanted to be one. I do my best and that is good enough. The Shakers deliberately introduced a mistake into what they made to show that man shouldn't aspire to the perfection of God. Flaws can be beautiful. God did not make me great at anything, but He did gift me with a lot of little gifts. With the gifts and lessons I have been taught by my parents and experiences, I have adopted the philosophy: in the whole scheme of things, does it really matter a day from today or next year. That has been a good philosophy to live by. I'm not sure how a perfectionist can enjoy life. Remember mistakes build character.
Be happy and God bless you.
